How do people live their lifes? What happens outside of the public focus? The Other Hundred, a non-Profit photo book, initialised by the Global Institute for Tomorrow (GIFT), captures to transform the variety of people’s lifes into pictures.
Feeling the people's hopes, desires, dreams and their untold stories are only a few things which this book gives its reader access to. The work of 1500 photographers from 156 countries has resulted in exhibitions in Hong Kong, Singapur and Dubai. The project has received worldwide attention through its questioning of the Western world and its logic, where money and power have been ruling over social values for a long time already.
I designed the cover of the book in the name of Karl Anders on which the visual concept for the international project was developed. The book has been featured in over 120 media outlets including CNN, BBC, NHK, The Guardian, Al-Jazeera, Huffington Post and others.
